1. About these terms

These Terms of Service apply when you visit Bellwove's website or purchase a Bellwove life-story service. By placing an order, you agree to these terms together with the service description, order confirmation, accepted written quotation, Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Shipping Policy that apply to your commission.

Bellwove is a brand operated by 普宁市流沙金恒盈信息咨询服务部（个体工商户）, an individual industrial and commercial household registered in Guangdong, China. Unified Social Credit Code: 92445281MAKJC1957P. If a written quotation or order confirmation contains project-specific terms that conflict with these general terms, the project-specific terms apply to that commission. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be limited.

2. Services and prices

Bellwove provides personalised interviewing, writing, editing, and editorial-design services.

• One Hour Story: US$88.
• Keepsake Story: US$200.
• Signature Story: US$750.
• Bespoke Memoir: scope, schedule, deliverables, and price are confirmed in a written quotation before work begins.

The product page or written quotation states what is included. Work outside the agreed scope—including added interviews, substantial new material, translation, bilingual editions, extra revision rounds, or a changed brief—may require a revised schedule and an additional written quotation.

The One Hour Story price covers the stated editorial commission and a reading PDF. The Keepsake Story price covers the stated editorial commission, a reading PDF, production of one standard hardcover with a personalised printed cover, and standard shipping to supported destinations. The Signature Story price covers the stated editorial commission, digital deliverables, and production of one standard premium clothbound hardcover with a full-colour interior. Extra copies, upgraded materials, presentation boxes, Signature Story shipping, duties, and import taxes are additional. Taxes collected at checkout, if any, are shown separately.

3. Starting a commission

An order is accepted when Bellwove confirms it and, where required, confirms the storyteller, subject, working language, interview arrangements, and project scope. Bellwove may contact you before substantive work begins if information is incomplete or the requested project falls outside the service purchased.

You agree to provide timely, accurate information and the photographs, documents, names, dates, approvals, and other source material reasonably needed for the commission. Estimated schedules depend on timely interviews, source-material delivery, feedback, and approvals.

4. Interviews and recordings

Bellwove records an interview only with the informed agreement of the people taking part. Participants may ask questions about the recording or decline recording before the interview begins. If recording is declined, Bellwove will discuss whether another working method is practical; this may affect the scope, accuracy, schedule, or feasibility of the commission.

You are responsible for ensuring that invited contributors understand the purpose of the interview and are authorised to participate. Interview recordings, transcripts, and notes are used to prepare the agreed commission and are handled in line with Bellwove's Privacy Policy and the project's agreed privacy arrangements. Bellwove will not publish a client's story, recordings, photographs, or identifying material as a sample or promotion without separate, explicit permission.

5. Editorial process and client review

Bellwove makes editorial decisions in order to shape the supplied interviews and materials into a coherent story. The included revision rounds are stated on the product page or written quotation. Requests that materially change the approved brief or introduce substantial new material may be treated as additional work.

You are responsible for reviewing names, dates, quotations, captions, permissions, and other factual details during the review stage. Bellwove does not promise that memories or source materials are complete or independently verifiable.

6. Client materials and permissions

You retain any rights you already hold in material you supply. You give Bellwove permission to store, reproduce, edit, and arrange that material only as reasonably necessary to perform the commission, deliver the files, maintain agreed records, and meet legal or operational obligations.

You confirm that you have the right to supply the material and to request its use. Do not provide material that unlawfully infringes another person's privacy, confidentiality, copyright, or other rights. If permissions are uncertain, Bellwove may omit the material or pause the affected work while the issue is resolved.

After full payment, the client may keep, privately share, and print reasonable personal or family copies of the finished edition. Bellwove retains rights in its pre-existing methods, templates, production systems, and reusable design elements. Commercial publication, resale, public adaptation, mass printing, broadcast, or licensing to third parties requires a separate written agreement defining permissions and any rights assignment. Bellwove receives no right to use private client content for publicity unless the affected client and participants give separate written permission.

7. Digital delivery

One Hour Story is delivered as a reading PDF. Keepsake Story includes a reading PDF, one standard printed-cover hardcover, and standard shipping to supported destinations. Signature Story is delivered digitally and includes production of one standard premium clothbound hardcover. Bespoke Memoir delivery is described in the accepted quotation. Digital delivery may be made by email, secure download link, or another agreed private method. You should download the files promptly and keep a secure backup.

Tell Bellwove promptly if a delivery link does not work, files appear incomplete, or the delivered edition does not match the agreed order so that Bellwove can investigate and, where appropriate, restore access or correct the delivery.

8. Physical editions

Keepsake Story shipping coverage

The US$200 Keepsake Story price includes standard shipping of its included hardcover to non-remote addresses in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Singapore, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Spain and Italy. For other countries, remote areas, offshore islands or overseas territories, please confirm delivery with your country and postal code before ordering. Any additional delivery cost is agreed before you pay. Duties and import taxes are not included.

A physical book is not included with One Hour Story. Keepsake Story includes production of one standard printed-cover hardcover and standard shipping to supported destinations; cloth, foil and other special finishes are not included. Signature Story includes production of one standard premium clothbound hardcover with a full-colour interior and a choice from Bellwove's standard cloth, foil, and endpaper collection.

After the complete digital proof for Keepsake Story or Signature Story is approved, Bellwove confirms the included materials and delivery address. Keepsake Story includes standard shipping to supported destinations, with no additional charge for that standard shipping. Signature Story shipping is quoted separately. Extra copies, upgraded materials, presentation boxes, and Bespoke Memoir editions may require a separate quotation. No physical production begins until you approve the specification and any required payment.

Standard production of one included hardcover is covered by the Keepsake Story or Signature Story price, according to that package’s stated specification. The Keepsake Story price includes standard shipping for its included hardcover to supported destinations. Extra copies, upgraded materials, separately agreed carrier services, Signature Story shipping, customs charges, import duties, and applicable taxes are additional unless the product page or written quotation expressly includes them. Supplier availability, destination, quantity, and exchange-rate changes may affect a quotation before it is accepted.

Physical production is also subject to the printer's lawful business category, required documentation, content review, destination rules, and any publication or printing approval that applies. Bellwove may use an authorised supplier in China or another country, or decline physical production if a compliant route is not available. A private digital commission does not by itself include public publication, an ISBN, retail distribution, or bookstore placement.

9. Cancellations and refunds

Because Bellwove commissions are personalised services, cancellation and refund eligibility depends on when the request is received, how much work has been completed, and whether non-cancellable third-party costs have been committed. The Refund Policy below explains the operational approach. Mandatory rights under applicable law remain unaffected.

10. Pauses, missed appointments, and client delay

If you need to change an interview, contact Bellwove as early as possible. Bellwove will make reasonable efforts to reschedule. Repeated missed appointments, prolonged non-response, or delayed source materials may extend the schedule. Work already completed and non-cancellable commitments remain chargeable as described in the Refund Policy.

If a project remains inactive for an extended period, Bellwove may propose a new schedule, revised quotation, or written closure of the commission after attempting to contact you.

11. Service changes and availability

Bellwove may update website descriptions or future service offerings. An accepted order remains governed by its order confirmation and any accepted written quotation. Bellwove may decline or stop work that cannot be performed lawfully, safely, ethically, or within the agreed scope; any resulting refund is handled under the Refund Policy and applicable law.

These terms do not require a consumer to give up mandatory rights, remedies, regulator access, or a court or dispute route that applicable law makes available. No governing-law or exclusive-court clause is imposed here; any such project-specific term must be lawful, fair, and separately agreed in writing.
