Included in your US$200 story
- Choose up to 90 minutes of guided phone conversation across one or two sessions OR seven calendar days of guided text chat, with one storyteller.
- Approximately 2,500–3,500 edited English words, or 4,000–6,000 Chinese characters.
- Approximately 24–40 designed pages with up to 30 photographs supplied by you.
- A personalised printed cover and interior layout.
- One standard hardcover copy, a reading PDF and standard shipping to supported destinations.
- Two rounds of consolidated revisions.
- Your approval of the final text and layout before printing.
Choose one final manuscript language: English or Chinese. This package focuses on one important experience or chapter of your life. Final pagination depends on your story and photographs. Photo sizes and placement are arranged to suit the story; several photographs may share a page.
Phone or text chat
Choose one conversation format. Text chat starts on an agreed date and lasts seven calendar days. Send memories when it suits you; I’ll reply asynchronously with follow-up questions. The chat period is for gathering your story; writing and revisions follow.
Printing and delivery
The US$200 price includes one standard hardcover copy. Standard shipping is included to non-remote addresses in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Singapore, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Spain and Italy. Other destinations, remote areas, offshore islands and overseas territories: contact us before ordering.
After checkout, we collect your delivery address by email. Printing begins after you approve the final text and layout.
Printing and delivery estimates are confirmed for your order. Any applicable import duties and taxes are additional and are the customer's responsibility.
Book options and scope
The included book has a standard printed hardcover. Cloth covers, foil finishes and other special finishes are not included. Extra copies, special finishes, longer memoirs, multiple interviewees, extensive research and bilingual editions are quoted separately.
